Daddy's Girl - Why Girls Need Their Daddy

Father's Day right to reflect on how important the father's time. We all know how much children need their dads, but what about girls? They need their dads as much as boys do? Mothers can provide everything a girl needs, or there is a very special something that only a father can provide?

Fathers are important to their daughters. The way a woman feels about herself so much she was treated by his father as he was growing up is up. Without a father's unconditional love, girls to develop self-esteem and low self-image may be less. Lack of a father's love a girl with severe self-worth issues left, especially if he perceives that his father can leave him. Girls who have been without a loving father can subconsciously crave male attention and unhealthy ways to fill the void want. Feel a great love relationship with a man not good enough ', they become abusive relationships or becoming involved in several vulnerable. They are more at risk of teenage pregnancy before going through puberty and become sexually active at a younger age is due. Women who remembered their father's love even more are at risk of developing depression.

This heart-warming to witness my husband and our daughter on the last five and a half years is the relationship between blossom. My daughter's bedroom one night remember standing at the door as her father and that her good night tucked. "Dad, you are my true love," she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck small. Gracie, like most other four-year-old girls love fairytales - princes princesses rescue stories, true love, kisses, and is happily ever after. His father, Prince, her protector, her provider, and his true love. It brings me such joy to see how different my little girl to her own experience.

Sadly, like me, there are young today grow up without their father's love, there are millions of girls. His Prince provider, and there to guard his princess special love that only a father can do nothing. Around half of marriages end in divorce until today. This means that many children are moving into homes where they are separated from a parent, most often their father. Unfortunately, in some cases, the mother due to unnecessary pain and bitterness of divorce with their fathers are important to keep in touch to stop their daughters. Instead of love in many homes Unfortunately, some girls are being abused by his father. Sometimes the father is present in the house but he just is not there for their daughters. Then there are kids who gave up being a committed relationship are being raised by his mother outside the imagination. There are also many children only their mother, who in their desire for a child being raised by a selection of IVF. It is possible that many as well as how parents just do not realize their children, regardless of their gender, both mother and father needed?

Unfortunately for me and my siblings, my father was a violent alcoholic who was ripped from my life when I was a kid. We did not get to say goodbye. I have a lot of her best childhood memories, but I remember how my heart ached when a contact after we were separated. I crave the love of his father grew and found myself in painful relationships, feeling unworthy of a man starving for love. I went through two divorces, clinical depression, sexual abuse and domestic abuse lean.

Thirty-three years later, I see my father as he lay near death in a nursing home had a chance. Consider it brought up some painful memories, but I finally did manage to find happiness in my life. I was remarried with a beautiful family. It pains me to move past and forgive my father for the time. The timing was perfect. For both of us - it was the best I could. I remember seeing him the first time after all those years. He is a poor, broken old man, a man I knew as a little girl was nothing like love. I was there to help him through his final days is expected, but I did not know just how much it would do for me. More than it did for me was the year of therapy. The first time I ever remember, my father told me he loved me. Thank God that we were given the opportunity as he died only weeks later. I lost again, this time at least, we were saying goodbye.
